CranioSacral Therapy With Cybèle
CranioSacral Therapy, or CST, is a gentle, hands-on approach that helps the body return to its natural rhythm and balance. The touch is incredibly light—about the weight of a nickel—yet it can have profound effects on how the body feels and functions. Sessions focus on areas like the head, spine, and sacrum, where the membranes and fluids surrounding the brain and spinal cord create the body’s craniosacral rhythm.
Unlike massage, you’ll remain fully clothed and comfortable during the session. Many clients appreciate this, especially if they prefer a less invasive experience. The atmosphere is calm, quiet, and deeply relaxing. As Hugh Milne, author of The Heart of Listening, explains: “A supremely gentle approach, it honors both the analytic understanding of how things happen and the intuitive perception of how things really are.”
That balance between science and intuition is at the heart of CST. While the experience feels soothing, it is not energy work. CST was developed by osteopathic physician Dr. John Upledger in the late 1970s and is grounded in anatomy, physiology, and manual therapy. CST has even been used in professional athletics. Dr. Upledger collaborated with the NFL to support players dealing with concussions and injuries. Former NFL star Ricky Williams shared, “I credit much of my well-being and my 1000-yard season to the multi-modality manual therapy program I experienced at Upledger.”
This shows how CST can support both recovery and performance while offering gentle, restorative care.

How You May Feel After a Session
During a session, you may notice subtle sensations—like warmth, gentle movement, or a soft release of tension. Afterwards, most clients feel calmer, lighter, or more grounded. Some changes are felt immediately, while others unfold in the days that follow.
It’s very important to stay hydrated after your session. Because CST helps your body realign and release, water supports this process and helps maintain balance as your system adjusts.
Consistency is Key
CST is not an instant fix—it works gradually. My training has taught me that it can take up to six sessions for the body to fully realign with its natural rhythm. Think of it as a process: each session builds on the last, helping your body create lasting change. For the best results, I encourage clients to stay consistent and commit to a series of sessions.
✨ CST is a gentle invitation for your body to reset and restore itself. If you have more questions about what to expect, how it works, or whether it’s right for you, I’d be happy to answer them.
