What to Expect
You can always expect to feel very welcome at Heaven & Health, whether it is your first time here, or you’ve been coming, as some of our clients have, for almost 20 years!
As a premium massage practice, our clients expect the highest level of service and our goal is to ensure that every massage is tailored to not only meet your needs, but to exceed your expectations!
A link to our intake forms can be found in the confirmation and reminder emails you receive prior to your appointment. Completing and submitting these forms in advance allows us to prepare for your visit and helps identify any health concerns or areas that may require special attention.
When it is time for your massage, you will be asked to undress to your level of comfort and lie on a comfortable table specifically designed for massage. Proper draping is insisted upon at all times. Only the area of the body being worked on is uncovered, and at no time is your modesty compromised. *Please note that some types of massage can be done with the client fully clothed.

A thorough assessment is performed at your first appointment. You and your therapist then agree to a plan of care, which may include type of massage, suggested number of sessions and recommended home care.

Deep tissue massage is often recommended for individuals who experience constant pain, are involved in heavy physical activity, such as athletes, and patients who have sustained physical injury. It is also not uncommon for receivers of Deep Tissue Massage to have their pain replaced with a new muscle ache for a day or two. Deep tissue work varies greatly but should never be painful.
Heaven & Health accepts prescriptions to treat injuries sustained in auto accident or workplace injuries. Symptoms following an automobile accident are often delayed. Common injuries include neck pain, whiplash, thoracic and back pain. If left untreated, these injuries can lead to a lifetime of problems and chronic pain. It is therefore, best to seek treatment as soon as possible after your accident.
If you are injured on the job, you are usually covered by Worker’s Compensation under your employer.

Lymphatic drainage massage, also known as manual lymphatic drainage, is a gentle form of massage used to relieve painful swelling or edema in your arms and legs. Edema can occur following infections or trauma and after operations involving lymph nodes – such as neck or breast surgeries.
A massage therapist uses lymphatic drainage techniques to move lymph from your tissues to your lymph nodes, which eases the swelling in your tissues.
At Heaven & Health, we work with clients with a normal lymphatic system. We address conditions such as post-op edema, sinus headaches, anxiety, chronic pain, migraines, and fibromyalgia. Lymphatic drainage can induce deep relaxation, reduced stress, improved sleep, and help the immune system.
Swedish massage is the most commonly offered and best-known type of relaxation massage. Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and create other health benefits such as stress relief, improved circulation and increased range of motion.
Reflexology is a form of bodywork that involves applying pressure to the feet and hands to produce health benefits elsewhere in the body. The underlying theory behind reflexology is that there are certain points or “reflex areas” on the feet and hands that are connected energetically to specific organs and body parts through energy channels, and this style of treatment can help to address conditions like stress, tension headaches, arthritis, digestive problems, insomnia and back pain.
CBD Massage
Naturally relaxing and not mind altering, adding CBD to your next massage session can improve the work your therapist does. It works quickly on your pain points to reduce the severity of your most troublesome spots. Additional benefits include better sleep, reduced anxiety, and improved digestion.
Our full-spectrum CBD products from Happy Buddha Hemp, based in Hotchkiss, CO, are made with single-sourced organic hemp. These products are effective, and we think you’ll feel the difference!
